Passing by the boutique we could almost believe that it is an art gallery or a jewelry. But here the real jewels are the pastries and the bread !

Little by little, I am getting used to the idea that desserts are not only made of chocolate, caramel or vanilla. And it is with desserts like the "Lipstick ananas et citron vert" (Pineapple and lime Lipstick) that my tastebuds are developing a liking in fruits and acidity. I reallly liked the oppositon between the acidulous cream and the ananas compote with the brown sugar and almond biscuit. Fruits have a nice kick that is far from boring !

The Mont Blanc cassis (blackcurrant) is nearer to my preferences. It more generous, the shortbread biscuit is delicious and for my greatest happiness, we don't feel the blackcurrant too much. The reprise of the classical dessert is a success because we have the taste of the chestnut and of the shortbread biscuit but with a little fruity surprise. It is an association of taste that goes well together.

I cannot make my mind on the boutique's visuals. For non-connaisseurs and non-adventurers it can lead to confusion. From the outside we do not see much of the boutique which doesn't necessarily invite the customers in. On the contrary, the dark mood of the boutique is very refined. The light spots highlight perfectly the products in the central vitrine and the vitrine in the back. Besides, a central vitrine is quite original, it gives the opportunity to the customers to have a good look of the products before having to choose. Such a pity that the pastries are a little bit hidden in the back !

With this layout and with the jewelry-like concept of the boutique, the vendors are up close with the clients and we make our choice in their company. It is a very good selling strategy, but with the time spent with each customer lenghtened, it is less appreciated when you are the one waiting for your turn. In the end, it is not very unpleasant as we can take our time to admire the products. The service ends always with conservation and tasting advices and once the bag of pastries is in your hands you have only thing on mind : to savour these beautiful jewels !
