Nagoya : the  most japanese sino-japanese restaurant

18/03/2018

Near the Montparnasse railway station, the restaurant is unlike the other sino-japanese places. The menu is varied and ressembles a authentic japanese restaurant.

Soupe de raviolis au crevettes (shrimp dumplings soup) : the soup has a slight MSG taste but the dumpling are very good. The taste of the shrimps comes through and the texture is soft.

Kastu curry (deep-fried curry pork cutlet) : a very big portion with chicken and vegetables in the curry. A very asian curry taste.

Yakiniku soba (stir fried beef noodles) : good and simple classical dish.

Maguro tataki (raw tuna with lotus flower chips) : slightly fried tuna, the heart is raw and the outside has the texture of a steak. Nice vinegar sauce, smooth texture and chips are crispy. Light and tasty.

Best sino-japanese you can encounter quality-price wise. Portions are very fair. Not a real japanese restaurant but still worth it if on a budget.
